Barbara Ann Dixon, age 72, of Brownwood, died at her home Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Burial at Bangs Cemetery.
Barbara was born February 8, 1943 in Brownwood, Texas to Henry Floyd and Cora Myrtle (Norris) Bowden. Barbara wore many hats throughout her life, but her greatest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren. She loved them all dearly.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her daughters, Kara Dixon of Lake Brownwood; Lorie Dixon of Brownwood and Laura Wilson and husband, J. of Goldthwaite; brother, Tommy Bowden of Concord; father of her children, Harold Dixon; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Bowden.
