The family of Aubrey B. French will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave. in Brownwood. Mr. French, 70, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at a nursing facility in Fort Worth. A private interment was held in Bangs Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 25, 1933, at Rockwood, Texas, the son of the late Morgan Earl and Rubye Deal French and reared in Bangs. He graduated from Bangs High School and had lived the last four years in Fort Worth. Mr. French was a retired electronic technician. Mr. French was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors include three sisters, Hazel Hargrove of Fort Worth, Jo Dotson of Fort Worth and Lillian Goodwin of Jacksonville, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.
