Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda Person, age 69, of Brownwood passed away peacefully Thursday, August 3, 2017, at a local nursing home.
Graveside Services for Linda will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Bangs Cemetery. No visitation will be held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Linda was born to Jim and Amy (Young) Gholson on September 30, 1947, in Evant, Texas.
She graduated from Evant High School. After high school she attended and graduated from Gary's Beauty College in Brownwood. She was a beautician for many years. She loved dancing and cooking. She never met a stranger.
Linda was very much the matriarch of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Amy Gholson; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Gholson.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
