Joseph David Atkins infant son of Brandon Scott Atkins and Magan Marie Maxwell passed away peacefully in the arms of loving family on December 22, 2017 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. JD was born on December 5, 2017 @ 9:03AM. JD is preceded in death by grandparents; David and Teresa Atkins, his maternal great grandfather Fredrick Maxwell. He is survived by three siblings; Destiny Atkins, Kaitlynn Atkins and Laileigh Atkins. His maternal grandparents Joseph Daniel Maxwell and Kathy Maxwell. His great grandparents Roy and Nora Haynes. His great grandmother Joyce Maxwell. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. JD gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on in our hearts for eternity. We will forever draw strength from your warrior spirit. Rest Easy Joseph David. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, TX. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors and friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Heartland Funeral Home.
