ATLANTA -- Funeral services for Dora Carpenter Cloud, 86, of Atlanta, formerly of Brownwood, were held at 11 a.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation was held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cloud died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, in Atlanta. Mrs. Cloud was born on May 20, 1916, in Lee County. She married George W. Cloud in Paint Rock in 1989. She was a former manager of Sears Catalogue Department. She had lived in Brownwood since 1920 and was a member of the Lady Elks and the Pythian Sisters. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Gus Schuhmann of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Karen Wadsworth of Texarkana, Stephen Schuhmann of Mobile, Ala., and Keri Lee of Coppell; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Lorena Lock of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Cloud; her parents, Arthur Fredrick and Fannie Branon Wisian.
