Wellbourne Harry Eoff was born on May 2, 1941 in Blanket, to J. A. and Myrle (Bagley) Eoff. He was a graduate of May High School. He married Janet Gail Johnson on November 1, 1963 in Brownwood. Wellbourne served as a Specialist in the US Army from 1959 until 1965. He went on to have a long career with GTE. Wellbourne enjoyed his daily visits with his “Dairy Queen Coffee Club” friends. Wellbourne is survived by his three children, Jeffrey Eoff and wife Sheral of Weatherford, Jamie Wiatrek and husband Shayne and Bradley Eoff and wife Dena of Brownwood; nine grandchildren, Jessica Eoff, Mandy Ramirez, Katlyn Eoff, Alex Steward, Evan Rose, Valerie Wiatrek, Tilleri Estrada, JB Eoff, Shayla-Marie Eoff; seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Glenn of Brownwood and a brother Dwaine Eoff of Owens. Wellbourne was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janet in 2010 and a brother Kenneth Eoff. Wellbourne passed from this life on Monday, February 24, 2020 at age 78.
