Masonic graveside services for E. T. Studdard, 76, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23 at Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Studdard died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at North Austin Medical Center. Mr. Studdard was born in Bangs, the son of the late Tom and Pearl Williams Studdard. He married Ellen Everhart on Jan. 27, 1946, in Brownwood. He served in the U. S. Navy during WW II and the U. S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of all Brownwood Masonic bodies. He was the past Master of the Mullin Lodge #806, AF & M in Mullin. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had been a resident of Brown County most of his life. He was Protestant. Survivors include spouse, Ellen Studdard of Brownwood; son, Tom Studdard of Brownwood; brother, Tommy Studdard of Hobbs, N. M.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Pearl Studdard; daughter, Yvonne Studdard; brother, C. D. Studdard; and two sisters, Louise Watson and Geneva Woods.
