Funeral services for Flora Eileen Whisenant Tipton, of Brownwood, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 in the chapel of First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ruth Huber-Rohlfs officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Tipton died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at a local nursing facility. She was born on Feb. 13, 1920. She married Raymond A. Tip Tipton on March 22, 1944, in Dallas. He died Nov. 9, 1990. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 1979. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brownwood. She is survived by several nieces.
