Funeral services for Pauniece L. Wall, 84, of Brownwood, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 in the St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Wall died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at her home in Brownwood. Mrs. Wall was born on Feb. 23, 1918, in May. She married W. L. “Dub” Wall in Olden on Aug. 27, 1934. She and her husband “Dub” Wall owned and operated the Dub Wall’s Central Boot and Western Wear Store for many years. She was a charter member of the Downtown Brownwood Association. She was a member of the Pythian’s Sisters, and a member of the Altrusa Club. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She had lived in Brownwood since 1926, moving here from May. Survivors include two daughters, Lugene Pellitius of Brownwood and Louise Pepper and husband, A. J. of Brownwood; six grandchildren, Colt Carlisle of Brownwood, Kevin Carlisle of Corpus Christi, Mary Kathryn Dansby of Brownwood, Corbin Carlisle of Jackson Hill, Mark Lee Mills and wife, Katie, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Alisa Pauniece Thomson and husband, Andrew, of Fairfax, Va.; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn Chianelli of Dallas; and brother, Derwin Floyd of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. L. “Dub” Wall on July 22, 1984; her parents, John Seaborn and Gertie Lugene Roach Floyd.
