Mary Ellen White, 85, lifetime resident of May, died peacefully Jan. 9, 2006, in Houston after a short illness. She was born April 25, 1920, in Brownwood to John Henry and Minnie Lee Harlow Brown.
Survivors include a son, Ronald D. White and wife Suzanne; a granddaughter, Lisa White Hill and husband Russell; and grandson Donny White, all of Houston.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at 10 a.m. at the May Cemetery in May. Funeral arrangements are through Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas.
