Louise Lancaster, 71, of Early, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016.
Sarah Louise Edwards was born on Dec. 11, 1944 in Stephenville to John L. and Willie Drusilla (Lee) Edwards. She graduated from Early High School in the Class of 1963. She later married Arthur Wayne Lancaster on April 19, 1985. Louise worked for GTE for 32 years before retiring in 1996.
Louise is survived by her husband, Art Lancaster of Early; daughter, Donna Willingham and husband Kenneth of Mansfield, Steve Laughlin of Decatur and Robert Laughlin and wife Tonya of Harleton; step-children, Shane Lancaster and wife Michelle of Early and Kristie Gleaton and husband Todd of Waco; two sisters, Dorothy Godfrey of Blanket and Joy Hesse of Longview; a brother, Angus Edwards of Comanche; grandchildren, Chance Cooper and Makayla Willingham, Candice Ley and husband Jake, Wade Laughlin, Riley Laughlin and Tristyn Laughlin; step-grandchildren, Jon-Austin Lancaster of Virginia, Preston and Colton Gleaton of Waco, Jalissa Crowder and husband Jodie of Brownwood; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Ley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
