Clyde Richardson Reed, 74, passed away at home on May 21, 2019 in Goldthwaite, Texas. He was born Oct 29, 1944 in Brownwood, Texas. He was a graduate of Early High School in 1963. He married Shirley Cottle Reed on Jan 12, 1968. He served six yearsin the U.S. Navy He worked for more than 25 years and retired from GTE. Upon retiring, he began volunteering for the Mills County Historical Museum. He was a member of the Mills County Historical Commission. Richey was preceded in death by his parents, Clydy Newton and Marjorie Richardson Reed, and father - in - law, Paul Ray Cottle.
